It was added based off the interview though. And in the trailer we see Jora fighting in melee combat at 1:32 with a giant creature. On top of that based off the descriptions of the Norn it seems silly to think of her as anything but a Warrior.

I don't know who put the Warrior icon next to her name, but it shouldn't be there. There's no doubt that Jora is one of the new heroes, but no one has ever said she is a Warrior.
"Jora is a Norn hero in Eye of the North. She is suspected to be a Warrior." From Guild Wiki.
Anyway, I'm not saying she definitely won't be a Warrior, it was just a thought, as no one else really looks like a Paragon.

That was a presentation
But no i was talking about the one Arcane quoted though looking at it "Jora is a warrior" doesnt seem to be said so my apoligies.
So with that i'm guessing they based her profession off other things (Concept art with her having a huge sword, her general race being strong and the screenshot that shows her fighting a White Fur Charr in melee combat)

Well in all teh concept art and screens jora has warrior weapons so beliveing she would be anything else is silly.
I doubt paragon because she is from tyria, where as the capaign specific heros most likely got to EoTN from the undergrounds of their respective continent.

Almost makes me want to make a Ritualist...
Oh, and the second person after Gwen is not a Female Ele like I first thought, look at her hands. That's a Necro. A HOT Necro!
So, looks like IF Gwen is a Hero (crosses fingers), we know at least what the Necro Hero looks like.

might be safe to say that because Gwen and the Chick in the red (looks to be a necro, she'll be taking Olias' place if she turns out to be a hero ) are so close to the confirmed heroes...that they are heroes too...and also the Asura....but 3 Norn Heroes that look almost identical? The 3 Norn look like they are warriors...I just don't see us having 3 big norns besides Jora as heroes...I think they are just NPC's that got clumped in...
The middle of the three big norns looks like my avatar...which I got from the trailer...so I'm guessing he's somehow important...
The Norn with the red hair is seen at the end of the trailer releasing the raven
Ritualist armor from the first pic looks...ummm...interesting...(4th from the left)
I like the looks of that 3rd creature in the 2nd pic...charr boss perhaps?
|
The blonde norn might be a hero, and that one with the helmet could be his upgraded look. (Don't forget, heroes have hero armor upgrades)

In the one link given in this thread of screenshots http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x...ens/?start=all in some of the pics shows elemental skins on the hands.
On the guildwars site it states "40 new armor sets, including rare, stand-alone pieces ".
Wonder if those hand pieces are some of the rare standalone pieces. Be cool if I could have a full elemental suit. I have always also wanted a juggernaut suit from factions.
As for the rest of the screenies, nothin really to impressive in my opinion.

I'm guessing those are all norn armors that have the fur on them. As for the 60 armors sets released by the unoffical forums, I'd believe there are fake or like someone else mentioned Gwen skins modded on excisting armors. I hope the real modeled versions that are offical look much better. The "fake" warrior ones are pathetic! In the in-game trailer i also saw what looked to be a female warrior in ebon vanguard armor. I really hope to be able to wear that armor, especially the helm for my warrior .

Definitely not fake.
The armour he posted matches a lot of what we saw in the e3 video and what was released today in the new pictures. But we still haven't seen the fourth Warrior set, so it's possible they get the vanguard armour.. But I wouldn't count on it.

From the videos of the presentation. I can guess the Aztec-esque armor is the Asura one.

Anyone else out there disappointed?
As far as the second link, those are supposed to be armor pixels from the gw.dat file from gwen, put on already used armor skins. So those are not even accurate.
I have high hopes and expectations for GWEN....now its slipping
|
Actually I all think they're excellent. The textures are great quality, and its the exact look I was expecting. The Asuran armor is slightly exotic, Dwarven is very artistic and regal, Norn armor is very vikingish with rune like designs. Its what I've been looking for, I'm sick of horny demon armors and what not, I want to be able to look like an average adventurer, not a flashy fantasy demi-god.
